Canvas is a web-based learning management system, or LMS. It is used by learning institutions, educators, and students to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate about skill development and learning achievement. Canvas includes a variety of customizable course creation and management tools, course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools.
The transition is underway and will go live for most of the campus in Winter ‘22.

As a part of our UCLA Learning Management System Transformation Program, Course Migration QA/ Testers will receive in-depth training on the new LMS Platform being built on Canvas and perform quality assurance of courses migrated from UCLA’s legacy system Moodle to Canvas. utlizing tools such as rubrics and guidelines to evaluate course accessibility, compliance with migration programming, and overall course functionality review.
Course Migration QA/ Testers will be integral members of the Learning Management System program team, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to enable a world-class, integrated teaching and learning experience for faculty and students that sets the standard for teaching excellence, academic achievement, and inclusivity.
