UCLA UES SPRING 2021 RECRUITMENT

UES is excited to announce its Spring 2021 recruitment cycle! Come out to our info session on Wednesday, April 7, at 6 PM PST to learn more about UCLA’s premier professional organization for students interested in economics.

The Undergraduate Economics Society (UES) is a student-run group dedicated to fostering an interest in economics to the wider student body and the establishment of closer ties between students and faculty within UCLA’s Economics Department. The organization draws passionate undergraduate students in their goals to uncover unique applications of economic thought.

UES is split up into 3 committees; the External Programming Committee, which focuses on coordinating events for the greater UCLA student body through networking nights and case competitions; the Internal Programming Committee, which focuses on the professional development of our members and student-student interaction through career panels and topical economic policy discussions; and the Writing Committee, which publishes academic articles for the Bruin Economics Journal and facilitates alumni interviews for the Economics Department. All students interested in economics are welcome to be a part of UES.
