Undergraduate Research Day at UCLA, June 3rd, 10am to 3pm PDT

Greetings,

Undergraduate Research Day (URD) at UCLA, June 3rd 10am to 3pm PDT, is a part of the program sponsored by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), Koç Group, and National Science Foundation (NSF). Our program, Undergraduate Research Experience, is designed to give undergraduates a chance to conduct high-impact research, develop both academically and professionally working with PhD students and post-docs in the labs, and present their work through academic journals and conference presentations.

At URD at UCLA this year, we will present many cutting-edge platforms for various global health applications, including deep learning microscopy, rapid diagnosis of disease through microfluidics, air and water quality monitoring through holography, and many more. Their many interdisciplinary projects are not only at the forefront of academic research but have also produced technologies currently on the market. Professors Aydogan Ozcan (Electrical & Computer Engineering and Bioengineering depts) and Dino Di Carlo (Bioengineering) are inviting you to join and celebrate with the excellent results our undergraduate researchers have done over the year via Zoom teleconference. This year, we also invited undergraduate students from three other universities, Florida International University, Rice University and Texas A&M University, to present their works in our teleconference.

We are inviting you to join us at June 3rd, 10am to 3pm PDT, via Zoom:
