The USAC Student Wellness Commission wants to help support you with purchasing your basic needs this quarter. We are providing a grant of up to $100 to cover soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, dental hygiene products, menstrual products, masks, and cleaning products. This fund does not cover food, rent, medications, vitamins, medical bills, electronics, textbooks/school supplies, or excessive quantities of items without explanation. Luxury items will also be substituted with cheaper options.
Applications to apply to the Basic Needs Subsidy are open now and will close on October 29, 2021, at 11:59PST. This is the link: tinyurl.com/basicneeds2122. This grant is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and is only available to undergraduate students. Students with urgent needs will be prioritized.
