Join us next Wednesday Jan 26 at 5pm, to hear about Professor Naoz’s research on a broad range of theoretical astrophysics problems, such as black holes, gravitational wave sources, and binary stars! ?✨?
Professor Naoz is an Associate Professor at the UCLA Department of Physics and Astronomy, and the Howard and Astrid Preston Term Chair in Astrophysics. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Helen B. Warner Prize by AAS (2020), the Sloan Research Fellowship (2015), and the Einstein Fellowship by NASA (2012). She is also passionate about increasing diversity in physics and astronomy and making science more accessible, and is the recipient of the Career Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award by UCLA (2019).
