Pediatric AIDS Coalition for Mathematics Students

Hey everyone!

My name is Henry Krasner and I am the Director of University Relations for the Pediatric AIDS Coalition (PAC) at UCLA! I wanted to reach out to you all this summer to encourage you to apply to PAC this upcoming school year! PAC is the largest student-run nonprofit organization west of the Mississippi River, and we are dedicated to fighting against HIV/AIDS and the stigma associated with these diseases through sharing our cause, raising capital, and organizing UCLA’s largest tradition, Dance Marathon, to take a literal stand against HIV and AIDS. PAC would allow you to utilize your critical thinking skills and education from mathematics coursework to take an active role in ameliorating health-based and social issues affecting millions of individuals on a global scale. In the past, many Mathematics students have become involved in PAC, specifically in committees such as Public Relations and Cause Engagement! If you are interested in learning more about PAC or applying, you can fill out this super short Google form (https://forms.gle/SbsqHZHpZp4nyumG9) to be added to our recruitment email list!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact pac.university.ucla@gmail.com or text (775) 762-7988. Also, feel free to check out PAC at www.pediatricaidscoalition.org. Have a great rest of your summer, and I look forward to seeing your applications!

Best,

Henry Krasner
