The Center for Middle East Development (CMED) may be the place for you! We invite students of all majors to apply for CMED’s Conference Support Internship (virtual).

Deadline to Apply: April 11- You are encouraged to apply ASAP, as interviews will begin as soon as applications are submitted.
Interviews: Rolling
Skills Assessments: April 23-26
Training: April 30- May 10 (specific dates/times TBD)
Start Date: May 13 or 14
Please note- students who are currently members of our research team should note that students may hold only one position simultaneously within CMED.
CMED is a UCLA organization housed within the International Institute. Under the direction of Political Science Research Professor, Dr. Steven L. Spiegel, CMED organizes virtual webinar events and off-campus international conferences. Additionally, the Center hosts visiting scholars, oversees the publication of a Routledge book series, and publishes a Center blog, “The Middle Easterner.”
