Hi everyone!
Medical Experience Through Service in Healthcare (MESH) at UCLA is currently holding a fundraiser and book drive for the Venice Family Clinic to increase pediatric literacy. We are a public health organization that works with VFC to educate families on the importance of preventative health and collaborate on various projects which serve the patient population. VFC is a family clinic in Santa Monica that works to provide quality healthcare to patients in the surrounding area, with an emphasis on those from low-income communities.
All proceeds from our fundraiser and children’s book drive will go to the Venice Family Clinic! Specifically, monetary donations will be used to purchase children’s books and be provided in a gift package to the clinic at the end of the quarter.
