UCLA Zero Waste is surveying the campus population’s interest in a zero waste bulk store on campus where customers can refill various types of products in their own containers and pay by weight.
Who We Are
The Zero Waste department at UCLA is working toward helping UCLA reach its sustainability target of a 25% reduction of waste per person from 2016 levels by 2025. Some resources that UCLA Zero Waste has to help engage students in zero waste initiatives include the Surplus Stop for students to donate items like furniture or electronics to other students, refillery pop-ups, and a guide to reducing waste in the kitchen.
