LAUSD Employment Opportunities for UCLA Students and Recent Graduates

The Los Angeles Unified School District has an immediate need for qualified Mathematics and Science Teachers. Candidates who are Mathematics or Science majors may immediately qualify to enter into a teaching credential program and begin teaching this fall. Some of these programs may be available at minimal cost to the candidate, and candidates can immediately begin earning a full salary and benefits while earning their credential.     

Many of our schools are making concerted efforts to reduce class sizes in Mathematics and in the Sciences, so there truly is no better time for recent graduates interested in teaching to get in on the ground floor of an exciting time in education.
