The Center for Community Engagement is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 Astin Community Engaged Scholars program. For those interested in working with diverse partners to do action-oriented research, we encourage you learn more about the program. In collaboration with the UCLA Labor Center, the Institute for Research on Labor & Employment (IRLE), and the Labor Studies Department, Scholars in 2022-23 will learn about conducting community-engaged research, and then will apply that knowledge to examinations of U.S.-Mexico labor relations and the development of cross-border solidarity. Scholars will work with peer university students in Mexico.
