Student Worker Positions Available in the Philosophy Department

Description:
Duties include (but not limited) data entry, creating word documents or excel spreadsheets completion of tasks assigned by supervisor or other Philosophy Staff, extensive scanning, copy and filing jobs, placing office supply orders, placing online textbook orders, answering phones and distributing office mail, delivery of packages to various buildings on campus, assistance with special events including set-up and clean-up, the cleaning of seminar rooms and various public areas throughout the building, set up of seminar rooms. Anticipated pay rate range: $16.80-$17.25/hour.
Qualifications:
Must have work study funding for Summer 2023. Looking for someone who is available to work during the Summer quarters on mornings or afternoons during office hours, 8am-5pm. Must be organized and self-motivated. Must have excellent attendance. Must be reliable, dependable and punctual. Must be very detail oriented and tidy. Must be willing to lift and carry heavy items such as AV equipment, large boxes of copy paper, and supplies for departmental events like bottled water, food trays and sodas. Must be willing and able to run errands across all parts of campus and in all kinds of weather. Must be willing and able to clean, dust, and vacuum seminar rooms, break rooms, and event spaces on a weekly basis, and assist with kitchen clean up after events. Must be able to type at least 35 wpm.
