The Daily Bruin is UCLA’s independent student newspaper organization. It has 18 sections that perform tasks ranging from news writing to video production to web development. Former staffers have gone on to work at major outlets such as the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times and ESPN. Work expectations vary per section, but students can reach individual editors for more information at their emails listed here: dailybruin.com/staff.
