UCLA Mathematics Professor Zhouli Xu has been awarded the 2025-2026 AMS Centennial Research Fellowship. He was selected based on his outstanding research in algebraic topology. His main research interests are classical, motivic and equivariant stable homotopy groups of spheres, with connections and applications to algebraic geometry and geometric topology.
